Sandbox is a mod that lets you use the BF2 engine to build structures, set up racetracks, ramps, and much much more. This is all done from an easy Command Rose interface in-game. There are a variety of objects to choose from when building a creation - and once you're done, you can save it and send it to your friends. Multiplayer support is also included so many players can collaboratively construct buildings, have wars, hit each other with barrels, and anything else they can imagine!
Description
Sandbox 1.0 brings lots of improvements and new features to the table. The first thing you'll notice is the totally revamped interface. We've added a simplified server browser that lets you hop into a game quickly without having to worry about messing with the server filters. Once you start playing, you'll notice the new spawn buttons that feature pictures of each of the 195 spawnable objects and vehicles. Of course, Sandbox 1.0 includes an even greater variety of vehicles from the world of Battlefield 2, as well as some custom vehicles from great BF2 modders like SatNav. The kit selection screen has been streamlined with the ability to spawn with any of the core BF2 kits from all three teams, in addition to the usual Construction and Zombie kits you know so well. To help those with aspirations of reconstructing Burj Dubai, we've added a jetpack to the construction kit that lets you quickly fly around without worrying about taking damage crashing into things.

if i have 2 gigs ram and am playing on all low graphics would i get alot of lag?

Hey if you havent figured out how to fix it yet I had the same problem. You have to go into your directory for sandbox (Go into Program files, Go to EA Games, BF2, Mods, Sandbox). There should be a shortcut Called Start Sandbox normal or Run Sandbox Or something like that double click it...

2. Find EA games
3. Find Battlefield 2
4. Find mods and in the mods folder find sandbox
5. Now look for an icon in the sandbox folder that says, Start Normal
6. Click on that and it should work

Ok I fixed the problem but I had to download patch 0.5 and use the "@save _______" command. The only problem with 0.5 is that it doesn't have as many objects as 1.01. If you have 1.01 and you can save your creations, please let me know...
