ProMod is a BF1942 modification and does not keep specific destinations or historical correct process but is exclusive for having fun while playing games. Therefore the ideas of the developers have been realized using parts (mainly 3d-models) of the following, already known BF1942 modifications: EoD, Desert Combat and Parallel World.
- various helicopters, boats, ships, planes, cars and a hovercraft
- most different armament and equipment
- guided missiles and countermeasures
- a winch to pick up persons from places where landing is impossible
- destroyable bridges
