Doing The Village BFV Map
This map is loosely based on scenes from the 1986 movie "Platoon." It is based on scenes from the chapter titled "Doing the Village" on the DVD.
This is an infantry map for the most part with only a few jeeps and APCs. The flags start out neutral besides the main US and NVA bases. There are 5 other flags to be captured three in the jungle areas, one a central village, and one other in a river bank camp. There is quite a bit of jungle in the map and river runs through the center. There are very small paths through the jungle areas to promote infantry only combat.
