Etwas untergegangen scheint eine kleine nicht wichtige News. Wie bereits bei Battlefield 4 das "Phantom Program", wo es darum geht zu sammeln (Dogtags, Waffen freischalten) und Rätsel zu lösen, gibt es seit Release von Battlefield 1 wieder eine solche Bewegung, wo sich Spieler auf die Suche von versteckten Details begeben. Bislang hatte man zwar MCOM´s gefunden und Kopfhörer auf den Maps, doch konnte man bis zum letzten Patch keinen Erfolg verbuchen. Seit dem letzten Patch kann man nun, wenn man mit dem gefunden Kopfhörer zu dem MCOM´s geht, einen Morsecode hören, der sinnvoll decodierbar ist. In jedem Code befinden sich bestimmte Orte, an denen sich Symbole befinden, die man aufsuchen muss, um zur nächste Stufe der Lösung voranzukommen. Es gibt insgesamt 9 Stufen bis man dann das "A Beginner" Dogtag in der Hand halten darf.

Diese Suche war/ist sehr zeitaufwendig - ich erinnerte mich an die Dogtagjagd zurück bei Battlefield 4 im letzten DLC  "Final Stand", um auf Hangar dann endlich den Bogen freizuschalten. Ich persönlich habe diesmal ca. 5 Stunden gebraucht inkl. zu testen, was für mich die beste Dekodiermethode für den Morsecode ist. Problematisch war erst einmal die besten Einstellung für die Dekodierung der Audiodatei zu finden (Filter: 801-810, Treshold: 150; Translation Speed: 30ms) - als negativ stellte sich bei mir heraus, das ich Ballroom gewählt hatte und der MCOM im freien Stand und bei schlechten Wetter Donner und andere Geräusche den Morsecode störten, so dass ich manchmal noch eine Aufnahme machen musste. Also am besten eine Map wählen, wo der MCOM im Gebäude steht und sich die Locations für die Kopfhörer und den MCOM einprägen. Ein Programm suchen, welches die Audiospur des aufgezeichneten Videos extrahiert und als MP3 abspeichert oder gleich mit Audacity aufzeichnen und als mp3 abspeichern.

Hier nur kurz angerissen wie man vorgeht:

  1. man sucht einen Kopfhörer
  2. geht zum MCOM und zeichnet den Morsecode auf
  3. extrahiert das Audiofile (mp3)
  4. dekodiert den Morsecode und man bekommt wiederum einen Code oder am Anfang noch Klartext
  5. entschlüsselt den Code mit jeweils unterschiedlichen Dechiffriermethoden
  6. begibt sich an die Stelle, die man entschlüsselt hat 
  7. dort befindet sich ein Symbol, auf dieses zoom man rein auf Kimme und Korn und ein Ton ertönt - (nächste Stufe erreicht)
  8. bei 1. fortsetzen

Das ganze 8 mal !!! Beim neunten Mal ist es ein feststehende Location für jeden gleich. Wie der Name des Dogtags  vermuten lässt, geht die Suche weiter ...

NEW BATTLEPACK FEATURES
We are introducing a new French themed style of weapon skins for the new weapons. It comes in the same rarity as the weapon skins for the standard weapons; Special, Distinguished and Legendary. We are also adding 3 new melee weapon puzzles:

PARTY LEADER FEATURE
Every party will now have a party leader, usually the party creator, identified by a star. The party leader is in charge of joining a multiplayer game for the party. All other party members will be notified when the party leader has found a game. A normal party member can still join a multiplayer session but other party members will not get notified for it.

GAME IMPROVEMENTS
WEAPONS AND GADGETS

As part of an ongoing effort to address excessive use of explosive gadgets and grenades, we changed the way grenades resupply for this release. The goal for these changes is to reduce the amount of grenades available while getting constantly resupplied, as it is common in choke points, without making resupplies unnecessarily long in other gameplay.

Similar to some gadgets, all grenades slowly resupply when out of ammo. This resupply is greatly sped up when near an ammo crate.

The resupply timers are as follows:

Frag: 36 seconds
Light AT: 36 seconds
Impact: 36 seconds
Incendiary: 36 seconds
Gas: 27 seconds
Mini: 24 seconds
Smoke: 18 seconds
Resupplies are 3 times as fast near ammo crates
Reduced Smoke, Gas and Mini Grenade ammo from 2 to 1
Ammo pouches currently no longer resupply grenades
These changes are subject to tweaking in future releases. We are looking to expanding this system to more gadgets in the future.

Decreased horizontal recoil from 0.7 to 0.3
Full accuracy is reached one shot earlier
Fixed bad reload timers on M1911 Extended:
Tactical reload time increased from 1.4 to 1.6 s
Empty reload time increased from 2.3 to 2.6 s
Reload threshold reduced from 1.1 to 0.78

Fixed an issue where players could get the crosshairs back after pressing E while zooming in a vehicle in Hardcore
The bomber will no longer destroy certain structures when crashing in to them
Fixed an issue with certain vehicle gunner seats where the ADS stopped working once the weapon has been overheated.
Fixed an issue where the UI did not update correctly when using certain gunner seats in the Heavy Tank
Fixed an issue where the Armored Car turret accuracy was off, it’s now aligned with the cross hair

Reduced A7V flamethrower range from 44 to 24 meters to better match the VFX

@Turnbeutel Ich denk, bei dem Thema muss man einfach mal abwarten. Ich kann die Argumentation von DICE nachvollziehen, dass sie den Nade-Spam auf gewissen Maps eingrenzen wollen. Den gibt es halt auch schon immer. Selbst beim 42er gabs bereits auf kleinen Maps den übelsten Grantenhagel.

Man muss auch bedenken:

  • Granaten werden zu schnell aufgefüllt = Nadespam
  • Verlängerung der Zeit, bis Granaten aufgefüllt werden = Jeder hockt nur noch an der Amobox rum.

Es immer ein Hin und Her zwischen Balance und Teamplay. Alles was kommt, wird ein Kompromiss sein. Dass man automatisiert eine Granate erhält finde ich persönlich nicht gut, wenn aber insgesamt der Nadespam zurückgeht, könnte ich diese bittere Pille schlucken. Der Supporter (den ich persönlich gerne spiele) wird allerdings dadurch weniger Gewicht bekommen.
