The House of Pain ist eine Single- und Multiplayer-Mod für Battlefield 2. Zur Nutzung muss zudem das Add On Special Forces installiert sein. Sie enthält die drei Karten Strike at Karkand, Strike at Karkand Night und Night Fight, allerdings wurden diese komplett modifiziert. Neue Gebäude, neue Texturen, nicht Settings für den Fog of War. Dazu sind jede Menge neuer Sounds und Effekte enthalten, die schwächere Rechner in die Knie zwingen könnten. Wer bei BF2 bereits Ruckler hat, sollte die Settings für House of Pain direkt auf Mittel oder Niedrig stellen ;)
