"After Israel requested US Help in containing the MEC assault in the Sinai Region, the President sent the 1st Armoured Divsion of The USMC. Opposing them was elements of the 3rd Army of Egypt, recently modernised with the newest russian hardware, and the the strength of the MEC behind them. Both sides moved into the Desert regions, sure that this clash would be a deciding factor in the war for the Holy Land. The desert floor rumbles with the sound of heavy tanks and heavy artillery."
