BattleGroup 42: Zukunftsmusik
Heute veröffentlichte das BG42-Team einige interessante Infos auf der offiziellen BattleGroup 42 Homepage:
BattleGroup42 - BF42: "While outwardly all has been quiet, internally the mod team has been as busy as ever. We had huge amounts of useful feedback following the release of version 1.0 which was extremely pleasing. In addition we still have quite a few unreleased maps that didn't make the deadlines for the original 1.0 release. This has prompted us to create BG42 1.1 featuring revised infantry, general gameplay improvements and both new and revised maps. The update is nearing completion with more details of the content to appear in the near future."
BattleGroup42 - BFV: "Also nearing completion is the first release of our World War 2 based mod for Battlefield Vietnam. BG42:V will be the first BG42 release on the BF:V engine to feature the WW2 theatres of battle and brings our well-known mix of gameplay and historical-accuracy to the BF:V community. The first BG42:V release will feature the Pacific theatre of war, newly converted maps and a host of weaponry and equipment to wage war with. BG42:V 0.1 is in the later stages of build and as with the other projects under construction full details of the content and release schedule will appear soon."
BG- Vietnam: "BG42's initial release on the BF:V engine is also due for an update soon. Designed as a supplement to the main BG42:V mod, BG-Vietnam brings our traditional gameplay elements to the Vietnam setting. The first release featured corrected weaponry, tank riding infantry, flamethrower tanks, repairing APCs and other BG team improvements. The second release is set to include more BG elements of gameplay, new equipment and new maps. Expect the latest update on the progress of this update in the next few weeks prior to a release in the new year."
