Who Dares Wins: mal wieder

Die Bombardierungen der Who Dares Wins Truppen auf die Newsseiten geht mit ungeminderter Härte weiter. Neben B-52 Bombern und Predator Aufklärungsfluggeräten, flankierten uns Bodentruppen mit schon gestrig erspähten T-55 Panzern. Einige der im Konfliktgebiet befindlichen Kriegsberichterstatter erhielten aus verlässlichen Quellen Bilder dieses Übergriffes.

General Atomics MQ-1B Predator The Predator is a remote-controlled drone aircraft used for reconaissance. It can also be armed with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles for use against ground targets. In a chin-mounted ball turret the Predator has several cameras and a laser designator for "painting" targets for laser-guided bombs. In WDW, the Predator is flown from a control van in a method similar to a player-guided missile. It can scout for bombers (the same way you scout for artillery in regular BF) and carries 2 Hellfire missiles. The Predator was modelled by Nexusmax and skinned by Megaraptor.

Boeing B-52H Stratofortress The B-52 heavy bomber first flew in the 1950's and is still in service. One of the largest bomber aircraft ever made, the B-52 is a veteran of the Arc Light and Linebacker campaigns in Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The B-52 has standoff cruise missile capability but the aircraft is most devestating as a giant bomb truck carrying 70,000 pounds of bombs. In WDW the B-52 carries 27 Mk82 500lb bombs and 12 GBU-31 JDAM 2,000 pounders. The B-52 has 5 crew positions. The pilot flies the plane and drops the bombs, while the co-pilot, EWO and Radar Navigator monitor the radar and scout for airstrikes. The Navigator position serves as a bombardier for the GBU-31s and has a downwards-looking camera to aid in aiming the bombs. The B-52 was modelled by SiR_RiPPER and skinned by Megaraptor.

T-55 The T-55 is an old tank but is one of the most widely distributed tanks in the world. They were used by both the Taliban and Northern Alliance during the war in Afghanistan and were the main tank of the Iraqi Army in 2003. They were first used in combat in the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956. The T-55 is armed with a 100mm rifled gun and 12.7mm DSHK machine gun. The T-55 was modelled by Norjax and skinned by Layoric.
