Wie auf der neuen offiziellen Seite des Desert Combat Mods nach zu lesen ist, wird im Dezember die Puplic Alpha Version des Mods zum Download bereit stehen.

Linux Dedicated Server
Wie auf BF Centrale berichtet wurde, wird bald die Linux Dedicated Server Version für Battlefield 1942 von EA veröffentlicht werden.

BF LINUX SERVER IS GOING TO BE IN PUBLIC BETA SOON.
"I sent a beta candidate of the bf1942 server to EA last night. As soon as they give thumbs up, we'll start the public beta test. No idea how long this will take, but as soon as I have confirmation, I'll post it here. --ryan."
