Laggs ohne Ende! EA ohne Reaktionen!

Leute, es ist ne Sauerei was EA sich leistet.

Seit dem neusten Patch läuft bei zwei Leuten aus meinem Clan BF2 nur noch mit extremen Laggs. Der Grund dafür ist nicht ersichtlich. Neuinstallationen, niedrige Einstellungen, andere Treiber usw. haben keinen Erfolg gezeigt.

Zuvor gab es bei einigen natürlich Probs bei der Patchinstallation, die nur mit Hilfe der Community behoben werden konnten! Hilfe seitens EA Fehlanzeige!!!!!

Sauerei was da abgeht und das wir uns das immer wieder gefallen lassen!

Wenn es Probleme gibt, müsst ihr sofort an EA schreiben, damit die von der Community zugespammt werden und reagieren müssen.

Bringt leider herzlich wenig.

Hab mich mal ein wenig in den (US) EA Foren rumgetrieben und da ist nicht mal ein Mod anwesend.

Ein user hat mal den email Verker vom support gepostet. Da gehts um das performance Problem das etliche user, mich eingeschloßen, seit dem Patch haben.

Since installing the SF pack and patch 1.12, my Frames in the game

dropped, it is now so bad i cant play properly, also my standard BF2

suffering. If you look on the forums you will see hundreds of people

complaining aswell.

Although i normally run every setting on High, even dropping down to

low

off, is not providing any resolution.

Please can u tell me if you are looking into this and if another patch is going to be issued.

My graphics Card is XFX 6800GT 256mb and P4 3.0gb.

It sounds to me like a connection problem, I believe that the 1.12

patch

would of reset your firewalls and also the ports for the game.

Please ensure the correct ports are forwarded for Special Forces (found

in manual) and that the firewalls are correctly disabled.

If this doesn't help please reply via email and I will look into the

issue further for you.

I disabled my entire firewall last night leaving myself open for 20 minutes, and tested the game. No change in the graphics at all. The game will start at 30FPS or 25FPS and quickly go down to 15 to 18FPS making it unplayable.

Also my game play for BF2 has dropped to almost unplayable and the firewall is designed to alert when a program is trying to access a port or a connection is trying to get in.

I dont think it is the firewall at all. My mate has the same firewall

settings, since i built it for him and he suffers no issue.

This has nothing to do with the firewall (hardware or software). I work as a Client/Server programmer on a large financial application and I can assure you this problem has nothing to do with the network layer and everything to do with the application layer. A common technique technical support folks use is to blame problems on the network - but you have to ask a few simple questions:

1). Did anything change in the network from BF2 to BF:SF?

No.

2). Was there a change between BF2 and BF:SF in the ports that need to be opened (forwarded)?

No.

3). Did the application code change between BF2 and BF:SF?

Yes.

BTW my specs are similar to yours (except I am running dual 6800s) and I still see the same problems.
