Die Story gibt's bisher nur in Englisch:

The Polish Campaign

It's the 1st September 1939, the world had again a beautiful summer, but doom of the earth has changed: Adolf Hitler, Chancellor of the German Reich, has declared war. Germany is at war with Poland since today morning.

Now it's up to You: Either you defend your homeland by entering the Polish Army or you join the German War machine in order to acquire new living area in the East and to gain back the Polish Corridor.

In Wehrmacht 1939 - 45, a Unreal Tournament 3 Modification, World War II becomes alive again, as a normal soldier of the tow struggling armies the player can use different historical weaponry as well as vehicles and air force. This Modification has a very high emphasis on realism and high quality Team Gaming, so it's definitely NO Mod for single performers who're unable to act in a team. Realism will included more brutal and massive than in any game before:

- One shot to the chest, stomach or head is lethal whatever weapon was used

- You can not fall down from any heights over 2 meters without risking serious injuries

- Injuries will have an effect on mobility, how much your character can take anymore, some examples to this:

*Your character is shot into his left leg, instantly after the bullet hit the leg, your character will hit the ground, by being unable to reach stance again for some time.

*Your character was hit in his left hand, any weapon for which you need both hands to fire will be dropped and only held by the right hand until your character can handle pain while using the weapon.

*Frags from grenades may cause that your character only can hobble.

- Brutal and realistic close combat fighting with stock and bayonet

- Any weapon begins to sway around when in Iron Sights

- Any weapon has a correct recoil

Vorerst verdreschen sich nur Polen und Deutsche, die nächste Station ist dann der Westfeldzug 1940

Die Mod ist für alle die mehr Realismus beim Gamen wollen und Arcade Good Bye sagen wollen.

Hört sich für mich an wie ein neues Red Orchestra. Viel Erfolg dabei.

Neues RO? Ja ein bisschen aber wir wollen den Semi-Arcade von OST den viele für den Realism schlecht hin halten ned mit fahren. So der Link sollte nun gehen.
