"Cannot open display mode"...

Ich habe beim starten z.B. des Spieles Flat out 2 folgenden Fehler:

Flat Out 2 error:

"canno open display mode"

habe im Kundenservice und google nach Lösungen gesucht und unten

aufgelistete mögliche Fehlerquellen gefunden. Hab dann den neuesten

ATI Catalyst center und Display Driver

(7-12_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_55811) installiert, nachdem ich die treiber

deinstalliert und neu gestartet hatte. Danach die aktuelle auf der

Spiele CD befindliche Direct x installiert und ebenfalls neu

gestartet. Und dann noch den neuesten Patch draufgespielt. Mein system ist eine AMD Athlon 2800+, 1Gb Ram, Radoen

X800, 1,2TB Festplattenspeicher.(UND JA ICH HABE ALLE SPIELE NUR IM ORIGINAL =) )

Lieder hat alles nichts genützt der Fehler besteht weiterhin. Bitte

The Launcher does a check to see if you have the correct version of

DirectX on your PC.

If you do not, then it will not let you run the game from the

Launcher as you will get a DirectX error, This application has failed

to start because D3DX9_xx.dll was not found.

You must install the version of DirectX that comes on the CD.

DirectX9.0c has several different versions and updates, so even

though your system tells you it has DX9.0c, it may be missing files

that FlatOut2 needs.

To fix this problem you need to install the version of DirectX that

comes on the DVD, this will add in the DirectX files that are missing

from your system. To do this either select the DirectX9.0c option

from the launcher when the DVD autoruns, or browse onto your DVD

drive and go to the 'DirectX' folder and double click on the

'DXSETUP.exe' file.

When I try to run the game or the configuration program I get an

error message:

"This application has failed to start because D3DX9_xx.dll was not

found.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem".

(Note: D3DX9_xx.dll can be any one of a number of files, e.g.

D3DX9_30.dll or D3DX9_29.dll)
