Da ich per Suchfunktion dazu nichts gefunden habe:
Es gibt einen Anbieter der Bots zum Server füllen anbietet.
Wenn ihr bei ihm den Bf2 Server habt dann kostet ein Bot 3$, andernfalls 4$.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - All Outstanding Orders Setup

As of this afternoon DICE gave the go ahead for all outstanding Bad Company 2 Server orders to be setup. We processed all our setup's within the hour so if you had a new BC2 server on order at that point you will have received and email with your server details.
New server orders are still restricted however so any additional BC2 server orders made after this point will still be pending DICE's all clear.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their patience in this mater and hope you enjoy your servers.

Es wird also kein Server abgeschaltet für den teuer bezahlt wird.
bei multiplay schon(i3d glaube ich auch)
wenn über 8 stunden keiner auf dem server war, wird der server abgeschaltet(gestoppt).
Du musst ihn dann händisch neustarten.
Bei multiplay kann man das wohl umgehen wenn man einen automatischen restart von z.b. einer woche setzt. dann wird der server wohl nicht abgeschaltet.
Das ganze dient ja wohl momentan nur dazu, den ingame serverbrowser zu entlasten.
desgleichen werden zwar serverbestellungen weiter angenommen , diese aber wohl erst nächste woche online geschaltet.
Warten wir mal ab was der nächste patch bringt. in der regel ja nichts gutes

UPDATED - Ranked Server Host and New Clan/Rental Servers As you are aware from discussions on the forums, we have been having server load issues over the past few days which has affected game performance and even game stability for some players. As part of reducing server load we asked all our server hosts to shut down the EA Public servers while we work at optimizing the server browser in game to handle the large amounts of servers. Also as part of this server load cut backs, we have requested that the server providers do not put up anymore clan/rented servers either. This decision was made to reduce the impact on you guys when you are in game from affects such as slow server browser refresh, inaccurate server information refreshing and some of the other issues you have been seeing.The server hosts can still take your orders and answer your questions but until we have made changes to keep server load down they won't be able to fill your order and put up your servers.
So you all don't worry about whether this means you can't get into a server be assured, there is enough server capacity to allow everyone to get into a server and play. It might not be your favourite server or server provider but you can still get in there and get dogtags from someone new.
Thanks for your patience and we hope to allow the hosts to put up servers again for you all as soon as possible.
UPDATE: We hope to be able to give the server providers more information on when they can start putting up servers again during this week. Once we know when that is I'll update you here too.

Und warum sollten leere server dem Masterserver schaden?! ich denke doch, dass es eher die vollen server sind, die probleme machen.
die werden als nächstes abgeschaltet
bei multiplay kann man das wohl umgehen
Ist für mich nichts anderes als damals beim bf2 patch 1.3 als über monate die server immer abgestürzt sind.
ea/dice kümmert das recht herzlich einen schei.. ob man für die server ja gut bezahlt
die verdienen ja nichts an den ranked servern...angeblich

Due to the continued issues with the EA master servers, DICE have requested we turn off servers which aren't actively being used by players.
As we want you guys to enjoy this excellent game with as little problems as possible, we are going to be turning off all servers which have had 0 players for over 8 hours.
Please note that this is a temporary measure, which we hope everyone will support; however we also appreciate that some of your may not want your servers turned off so if you would like exclude your server follow this simply process:-
- Goto ClanForge -> Servers, select your server and Click Edit
- Once in the edit screen configure your servers "Auto Restart Interval" to something other than None e.g. 1 Week
- Save your server
Note: All restart intervals for BC2 have been reset so even if you already set this option you will need to set it again.
Just to confirm this will only effect servers if they haven't seen a single player for over 8 hours so there is no need to worry that your server will be turned off when its full.
- Goto ClanForge -> Servers, select your server and Click Edit

The EA master servers just crashed again taking servers and player with them.

ansonsten wurden wicked schon angedeutet hat, am we und in dieser woche pb server patches eingespielt

habe noch dieses gefunden:
Currently the program supports following functions:- Multiple game servers
- List of players, divided into teams, with a separate clan tags
- Support for common server variables such as the number of available slots, the password on the server, game modes, killcams, minimap, hardcore mode, aim sight, etc.
- Ban list support - by IP or by player nick - list of banned saved to a file.
(Note: banning currently crashes game server. This error has been reported to DICE)
- Chat console - with the possibility of sending messages to a specific player.
- Console events - events recorded from the game like join / leave / kill, etc.
- Commands in the game! Issued in the chat line with "@" prefix. For example:
@kick kick a player from the server
@say send a message to all players
- Reserve slots - at the moment, this option does not work with DICE servers.Map list settings with game modes (rush, conquest, etc.)
- Control Panel of Punk Buster.
- Censor
- Maplist function
The list of supported functions will be changed depending on the version of our software.
- Multiple game servers

Our Datacentre in Amsterdam is currently performing emergency maintenance to their power infrastructure which means that a number of machines will be offline between 08:00 and 14:00.

die KaDaGo Community bietet für Einzelspieler, Squads oder Clans ohne eigenen Server die Möglichkeit Adminrechte für unserern BFBC2 Server zu erhalten.
Das ganze kostenlos. Einzige Gegenleistung wäre halt den Server mit zu füllen, und natürlich auch darauf zu spielen.Welchen Modus, Maps usw. laufen soll, kann abgestimmt werden.
Bei interesse einfach bei uns im Forum melden oder hier per pn.

Servus,
ich habe das mal kurz getestet.
Scheint zu laufen.
Vorteil:
Durch die daemon/client version können Admins angelegt werden, die den bfbc2 server administrieren können, ohne selbst das rcon passwort haben zu müssen.
Es werden halt verschiedene benutzer angelegt.
nachteil:
der daemon muss auf einen rechner seperat laufen. fällt der daemon aus, kann nur jemand der auch das rcon pw hat noch etwas auf dem server ausrichten.
die serverdaten werden momentan noch nicht mit dem daemon gespeichert.
man muss also nach einem daemonstart "alles" neu eingeben.
wenn du das mal selbst testen willst, sag bescheid.
stelle gerne unseren server zu verfügung

Ob Ivens Bann gerechfertig ist lasse ich mal dahingestellt sein.
Finde das mit der Begründung aber akzeptabel. Es gab ja in der Regel heftigste Diskussionen wenn Iven den Mund nicht halten konnte ,-)
Für mich ist aber wichtiger, das die Leute die ihm Gewalt angedroht haben, auch gebannt worden sind.
Ich bin fast 38 Jahre alt und spiele seit guten 18 Jahren Konsolen- und Computerspiele und war immer der Meinung, das Computerspiele nicht gewaltätig machen. Mir haben sie jedenfalls nicht "geschadet".
In letzter Zeit ändert sich meine Meinung aber langsam, wenn ich das verbale verhalten auf Servern und z.B. hier im Forum mitbekomme.
Ich hoffe deshalb, das das bfg Team weiter konsequent gegen solches Verhalten vorgeht und diese Leute dementsprechend aus dem Forum verbannt. In Zeiten der Abmahnindustrie laden postings ala warez etc. gerade dazu ein, verklagt zu werden. Und die Gewalt Postings sind ja Steilvorlagen für die "Killerspiele" Fraktion.
Meine Gedanken dazu...bedankt fürs lesen

Auf nachfrage wurde mir bestätigt das BF2 /BF2142 als ranked laufen würden.
Falls einer den Ping testen möchte, mir einfach bescheid geben, wir haben einen BFBC2 pre-orderd der momentan u.a. als BF2 Server läuft.

Braucht man nicht.
Habe mal testweise einen 64er Server mit denen bestückt.
Das Spiel läuft auch ohne einen anderen Spieler drauf.
Sie dienen allerdings nur zum Serverfüllen, nicht um gegen sie zu spielen.
