* Far Cry gains as much as 25% on some product configurations

So viele Fehler! Mir sind drei der beschriebenen Fehler aufgefallen.

Was mir komisch vorkommt sind die hohen Performancegewinne durch den neuen Treiber. Was ist davon zu halten?

ich würde sagen das stimmt so weit mit den Performencgewinnen, weil die ja Treiber für Treiber weitere optimierungen vornehmen. Was nur sicher net stimmt is die hohe Prozentzahl, die übertreiben bei so was immer.

hab ihn auch geladen... seit dem treiber hab ich bei special forces im nachtsichtgerät so komische grüne streifen die von oben nach unten verlaufen, voll grausam... ich poste nachher mal n screen

Jungs ich wollte mal fragen ob hier einer den ATI Catalyst 5.12 CCC mit einen Windows X64 auf seinem System zu laufen hat?

Ich hab das Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (32Bit) und das Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 64Bit installiert, ohne Version 1.1 startet das CCC nicht!

Leider übernimmt das CCC die Grafikeinstellungen nicht und setzt sie bei jeden Restart wieder auf Standart!

Das heißt BF2 ohne AA, AF und in relativ schlechter Bildqualität. :(

Da der 5.12 nur in der CCC Version angeboten wird, hab ich jetzt wieder den 5.11 CP installiert, hat einer ähnliche Erfahrungen oder n Tipp zur Problemlösung?

Ich warte jetzt auf die DNA 64Bit CP VERSION vom 5.12, naja abwarten und Tee drinken.

Ich habe noch den 5.11 drauf weil ich an diversen Stellen gelesen habe, dass BF2 schlechter bzw. langsamer läuft. Werde die Version ohne CCC am Weekend mal installieren.

Leider wird bei planet3dnow ja auch nur die 32Bit Version vom 5.12 CP angeboten, 64Bit bleibt ja CCC :(

edit: ich hab jetzt noch das Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (32Bit) SP1 installiert, und es funzt jetzt endlich auch AA und AF :)

ich hatte mit dem 5.12er grafikfehler auf den sf maps mit nachtsichtgerät, daher wieder zurück zum 5.11er.

Die Leute, welche hier diskutieren, wissen es ohnedies, Ihr seid ja Profis, für die anderen, lest Euch durch, ob ein Treiber überhaupt etwas für Eure Graphikkarte bringt.

Es ist nicht immer eine Verbesserung wenn man sich den neuesten Treiber lädt, zuweilen funktioniert der alte besser, da die eigene Karte gar nicht berücksichtigt wurde, bei dem Treiber.....

Und man sollte nie den Satz vergessen ?don?t touch running systems?..... ;)
