Hallo Leute,

wir von World at War (WaW) bieten euch heute ein Event der Sonderklasse. Nimmt an massiven Luft- und Seeschlachten auf 5 neuen Custom maps teil. Eine große Panzerschlacht ist auch dabei.

Kommt und spielt bei uns mit :) Wir freuen uns.

This coming Saturday, March 12th, the World at War Tournament invites you to take part in a special Aerial & Naval Warfare FH2 event.

The WaW team has prepared several custom maps that feature a wide variety of aircraft, including new custom aircraft. We're also excited to present the return of naval warfare to the Battlefield 2 + Forgotten Hope 2 platform, something that has been missing since the FH1 days.

You'll be able to take to the sea in destroyers featuring a heavy gun as well as a Bofors AA gun and working depth charges. Be aware of the threat from the deep as enemy submarines will also be on patrol and will be stalking you using their periscope and forward and aft firing torpedoes. Finally, you'll also have the chance to engange in large scale armored combat on the map Tundra, where half of your team is going to be driving a tank.

Event Features:

- Battle on 5 exciting and unique custom maps

- Tyrrhenian Sea: Fight for control of several small island with heavy air and naval support.

- Bombing of Constanta: Launch Soviet Bombing raids against a Romanian port

- Baleares: Conduct beach assaults against a key island with air and naval support

- Battle of Britain: Be one of the "few" and defend the white cliffs of Dover against Luftwaffe attacks

- Tundra: Take part in epic tank battles across this large battlefield

- Custom equipment

- New aircraft such as the Stuka G-2 "Kannonvogel", Soviet TB-3 and I-16

- All aircraft featuring custom WaW Gravity Coding and nose-camera views

- Fully functional Ships and Submarines with torpedos and depth charges

Da warst du wohl falsch informiert. Wir haben gerade 45 Leute aufm server :) Es geht ab. Schnell "Das Boot" Soundtrack einlegen

Da warst du wohl falsch informiert. Wir haben gerade 45 Leute aufm server :) Es geht ab. Schnell "Das Boot" Soundtrack einlegen

Vor ca. 30min stand auf eurer Seite "6days left" in dem ticker, deshalb nahm ich an, ihr habt es verschoben und wir haben uns auf dem 128er eingenistet.

bin schon am Maps saugen :innocent:

6 days left bezog sich auf unser Freitag Public Server Event mit normalen FH2 maps ;)

Ich hoffe ihr hattet gestern alle viel Spaß mit den Schiffen und Flugzeugen.

Unser server hat heute morgen sogar noch Leute drauf. Wenn ihr das Event gestern also verpasst habt oder heute noch Lust auf action habt, ab gehts.

Ohne Zweifel, eine Bereicherung für die Community, das Event selbst war genial. :daumenhoch:

Auf Tundra, BoB und Constansa fehlte mir bisschen die Abwechselung und einige der Karten sind noch recht verbuggt, trotz alledem klasse Ideen & Umsetzungen! :daumenhoch:

meine persönlichen Favs. waren ganzen klar; Beleares und Tyrrhenian sea (bis auf ein paar kleinere Bugs)

Avrojet spielt ihr mit den Gedanken auch andere custom maps auszuprobieren? z.b diese Juin44 scheint ja sehr massenschlacht-tauglich zu sein ;-)

Ich meinte ansich, dass ihr etwas nach dem Event schreiben könntet, wie der Artikel zu den 128 Spielern. Der 128er Test vergangene Woche war ja auch nicht angekündigt.

Wir planen auf jeden Fall weitere Events dieser Art mit anderen Custom Maps und neuen Fahrzeugen, etc. :)

So, ein neuer Samstag ein neues WaW Event ...

Heute laden wir euch ein mit uns zusammen auf 5 neuen Custom Maps zu zocken.

Dazu müsst ihr einmal unsere WaW Minimod installieren. Keine Sorge, sie wird euer normales FH2 Spiel in keinster Weise beeinflussen. Auf normalen Servern könnt ihr wie gewohnt spielen. Nur auf unseren Maps erlaubt die minimod den einsatz besonderer WaW Features:

- Rally Points System für Squads

- neue Infanterie Kits, Waffen und Fahrzeuge

So, nur für dich gibts diese Woche ein wenig früher die Info. Download links kann ich aber leider noch nicht bieten, da die maps noch bearbeitet werden. Danke noch an die von euch, die Samstag mitgespielt haben. Ich hoffe ihr hattet dabei Spaß ;)

Am kommenden Samstag (26. März) starten wir unseren 2. Map Test und bieten diesmal 7 neue Custom Maps an:

- Hill 331

- Breakthrough 1944

- Breakthrough 2

- Hillville

- Carpiquet Aerodrome

- waw23_Crete

- MDI

Die maps sehen wirklich sehr gut aus und ich denke alle werden damit sehr viel Spaß haben.

Auf einigen Maps gibts Flugzeuge mit den WaW Gravity Flugeigenschaften samt Nosecam Ansicht. Weiterhin beinhaltet mindestens eine map einige Korvetten als Marineunterstützung der Landschlacht.

Ihr braucht dazu wieder die WaW Minimod:

Den eigentlichen Mapdownload wirds erst am Samstag geben, da wir noch dran arbeiten.
