Große Weltraumstrategie von Paradox. "Stellaris" sieht echt interessant aus.

Release irgendwann 2016, auf der Steampage war für eine kurze Zeit der 16. Februar angekündigt.

 

 

Ich hab Bock drauf, sieht wieder nach nem üblen Zeitfresser a la EU4 oder CK2 aus.

Hier noch mal einige gesammelte Infos von Reddit, pack die mal in einen Spoiler.

 

What is Stellaris?

It is the space game the company has been hoping to make for a decade. History is being left behind but it is still a grand strategy game in the mold of Europa Universalis. It is not positioned as a war game. It is a Grand Strategy with emphasis of exploration and procedural storytelling.

Current Progress

The game is currently in late alpha.

Known Features

Map Creation

  • Each Map will be randomly created
  • Starts are not Asymmetrical unlike previous games
  • Currently 1000 star systems is current cap. Each star system also has its own amount of planets.

Gameplay

  • Supposed to be a marriage between GSG and 4x games
  • In the early stages you will concentrate on exploration and colonization
  • Mid-game is concerned with imperial governance and diplomacy
  • There is at least one possible victory condition but there is no end date
  • Choose from 7 playable races or customize your own

Technology

  • Each faction chooses 1 of 3 faster than light technologies near the beginning of the game (Hyperlanes, Warp travel and Wormholes)
  • Divided into three categories: Physics, Social and Engineering
  • Science ships behave similarly to hero units
  • These scientists can gain traits that may hinder or help future experiments
  • Science ships can scan and analyze debris left behind by battles
  • Science ships will attempt to conduct missions (Fail a mission and the technology will be lost forever)
  • Some traits may seem terrible but will be the key to unlocking some of the more dangerous and esoteric technologies in the game

Events

  • Events differ in range from a single planet to your entire empire
  • There are very few hardcoded events
  • Late-Game catastrophes are possible (Examples are AI revolts or Warp Tears)
  • No comet sighted event yet

Diplomacy

  • Galactic federations can be formed or joined
  • Led by president elected at regular intervals
  • President controls foreign policy of entire federation
  • President can also build ships using modules of all races in federation (Leading to combinations found no where else)
  •  

Warfare

  • Peace agreement system similar to Europa Universalis 4 and Victoria II

Trade

Ship building

  • Ships are customizable
  • Each unit will be able to be seen in combat
  • No direct control of tactical situation

Planets

  • Manage the building location and resource extraction on planets
  • Certain parts of a planet may be blocked by dangerous wildlife or sinkholes
  • Adjacent similar buildings will provide bonuses to each other

Species

  • Created from 7 Phenotypes for a race to be grouped into: molluscoid, mammalien, fungoid, avian, human, and reptilian and one currently unknown base.
  • Album of currently known phenotypes 
  • Every alien species that you encounter will be unique to your game, concocted from a long list of physical traits and social behaviors.
  • There are around a hundred animations to represent each race in game
  • Uses a POP system similar to Victoria II
  • Every species has a backstory
  • There will be planet bound species to monitor as well
  • Unhappy populations will attempt to change government or splinter into factions

Klingt nach ner coolen Idee. Mal sehen wie es wird. Vllt. Gerade auch was für Leute denen Paradox Grand Strat bisher zu 'historisch' war ;)

Gefällt mir ja noch am meisten und bin ich sehr erpicht drauf zu sehen wieviele Freiheiten man da hat. :wub:

Was bitteschön ist historisch daran, wenn Wikinger die Franken überrennen und Karl den großen exekutieren? Wenn der Allvater über Judäa herrscht, und das byzantinische Reich von plündernden Horden aus Skandinavien ausgesaugt wird? Oder das wiederhergestellte Imperium Romanum den Horden Dschingis Kahns die Stirn bietet?

Wenn das in die Unabhängigkeit entlassene Israel den gesamten nahen Osten mit Krieg überzieht und erobert? :trollface:

Ich muss mir erst mal Crusader Kings 2 antrainieren, das wartet schon seit Monaten darauf gespielt zu werden.

Europa Universalis IV ist in meinen Augen mehr zu empfehlen. Wenn dein Regent nähmlich in CK 2 ein Weltmeister im schwängern bist, bist du nur noch am verkuppeln deiner Söhne und Töchter :D

Das ist doch Sinn der Sache, so viel terrärium wie möglich durch heiraten in die Dynastie einzuverleiben. :trollface:
